What’s different from city to city
- Permits. Each city runs its own permits for work at the curb or sidewalk, such as a drain outlet to the street. A licensed local contractor should know the process in your city.
- Slope. Most of the area is flat valley floor. Lots on the hillier west side of Cupertino deal more with water running downhill onto the property and drains behind retaining walls.
